Terms
Terms & Conditions
These terms set out the baseline conditions for accessing the ICIT Drone website, demo experience and operational intelligence platform.
Last updated: 7 June 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of the ICIT Drone website, demo environments and operational intelligence platform. By accessing or using ICIT Drone, you agree to these terms unless a separate written agreement with ICIT applies.
If you use ICIT Drone on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation and that all users you invite or manage will comply with these terms.
2. Platform purpose
ICIT Drone is designed to help authorised organisations capture, validate, review and analyse drone sighting reports through structured operational workflows.
The platform may support reporting, evidence management, aviation data cross-reference, astronomy validation, dashboard analytics, audit trails and operational review. Features may change as the platform evolves.
3. Accounts and access control
Users must keep account credentials secure and must not share access with unauthorised persons. Organisations are responsible for managing user roles, permissions, access levels and offboarding.
We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe an account has been compromised, used unlawfully, or used in a way that creates security, operational or legal risk.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use ICIT Drone to submit false, unlawful, harmful, misleading or unauthorised material, or to interfere with the security, availability or integrity of the platform.
You must not attempt to reverse engineer, bypass access controls, scrape non-public data, introduce malware, overload infrastructure or access information you are not authorised to view.
5. Operational data and evidence
You are responsible for the accuracy, legality and appropriateness of reports, media, witness statements, locations, review notes and other material submitted through the platform.
ICIT Drone does not independently verify every submitted report. Validation tools and external data sources support operational assessment but do not replace professional judgement, lawful procedures or command decision-making.
6. Third-party services and data
The platform may use or reference third-party services, datasets or infrastructure, including aviation, mapping, environmental, astronomy, hosting, authentication and communications providers.
Third-party data may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable or inaccurate. ICIT Drone is not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of third-party data without appropriate operational review.
7. Intellectual property
ICIT Drone, including its software, workflows, interface, branding, documentation and platform design, is owned by ICIT or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of content and operational data you submit, subject to the rights needed for ICIT Drone to host, process, secure, analyse and provide the platform services.
8. Confidentiality and security
Users may access sensitive operational, security or evidential information through the platform. You must protect that information and only use it for authorised operational purposes.
You must promptly notify us of suspected unauthorised access, credential compromise, security incidents or misuse involving ICIT Drone.
9. Availability and support
We aim to provide a reliable and secure service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, updates, network issues, third-party outages or security events may affect access.
Support arrangements, service levels, fees and implementation commitments may be set out in a separate written agreement or order form.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
ICIT Drone is provided as an operational intelligence and workflow platform. It is not a substitute for emergency procedures, legal advice, aviation safety determinations or command authority.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ICIT will not be liable for indirect, consequential, special or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data or loss arising from unauthorised use, inaccurate submissions or third-party data failures.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached, if required by law, or if continued access creates unacceptable security, legal or operational risk.
On termination, access to the platform may cease. Data export, retention or deletion will be handled according to the applicable written agreement, retention settings and legal obligations.
12. Governing terms and contact
If a separate written agreement, order form, data processing agreement or service schedule applies, that document will take priority where it conflicts with these website terms.
